aftrtht is Daksh Joshi — a musician and painter based in Guelph, Ontario.
Lost Tapes & Lost Friends is his debut record: nineteen tracks, forty-two minutes, mostly instrumental and built around guitar, with two songs that break into words. It was recorded in 2026 and released on his own label, slaughter mill.
The paintings across this site are his as well — the cover, the inner sleeve, and the work in the gallery. The same ridge-and-pines composition runs through most of them.
